So many of our cultural influences, from novels and film to music and TV, concentrate on young love and the falling-in-love, intense infatuation stage of a relationship. My relationships theme explores mature, enduring relationships of lovers and friends; relationships that have been deepened by commitment and the mindfulness that they need to be nurtured and require effort to develop. Colours are subdued to reflect the equilibrium of the relationships.
